Amanda Hayman is a licensed marriage and family intern (LMFI) with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. Her career is dedicated to assisting individuals and families in overcoming life’s challenges through compassionate and effective psychotherapy.

She has gained extensive experience in community mental health settings, where she provides evidence-based therapeutic interventions to a diverse clientele. Amanda works with people of all ages, addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, and relational difficulties.

Her approach is warm and non-judgmental, ensuring a safe environment for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. She employs a collaborative strengths-based method tailored to the unique needs of each client or family. Amanda utilizes various therapeutic modalities like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), and emotionally-focused therapy (EFT) to help clients gain insight, develop coping skills, and build healthy relationships. Additionally, she holds certification in the Community Resiliency Model (CRM).
