Dr. Lisa Reiss, Ph.D., LMHC, ACS
With a deep commitment to supporting your journey, I bring extensive experience and qualifications in the field of mental health. Holding a Ph.D. in Counseling with a focus on Marriage and Family, I’ve been serving as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in Florida since 2005 and have guided MHC and MFT interns as a qualified Supervisor since 2011. My background also includes over two decades as a School Guidance Counselor, backed by my Florida teaching certification in Guidance and Counseling, along with my role as an Adjunct Professor of Psychology.
My approach is centered around you—your needs, your goals—using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy alongside other evidence-based methods to help resolve symptoms and foster self-awareness. Whether short-term or long-term therapy suits you best, I’m here to support your mental well-being just as we would prioritize physical health for overall fulfillment.
Specializing in anxiety-related disorders, I am dedicated to creating a safe space where we can work together towards managing stressors like anxiety or depression through holistic therapeutic tools. Our collaboration will be grounded in trust and understanding, empowering you to explore life changes that promote healthiness.
I welcome teens, young adults, individuals, couples, and families facing challenges such as stress management or behavioral issues. Together we’ll harness techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to Relational Therapies aimed at nurturing both self-relationships and those with others because our connections begin within ourselves first.
In every session—whether online or face-to-face—I strive for compassionate guidance tailored uniquely for you so that growth becomes not only possible but achievable on this shared path toward healing.
